Goal: L’Aube Food Hub supports local organic farms and sustainable food systems while serving a diverse community of partners, producers, and participants. The goal of the project was to improve the clarity and usability of the organization’s website so it could better communicate its mission, programs, and impact. The site needed to be easy to navigate, accessible to a broad audience, and manageable for a small team with limited technical capacity.

The website needed to balance community-facing storytelling with practical information about programs, partnerships, and services. I focused first on clarifying the site’s structure, ensuring visitors could quickly understand what L’Aube does, who it serves, and how to get involved. Content was reorganized and refined to reduce redundancy and make key information easier to find without overwhelming users.

Accessibility and readability were central considerations throughout the work, helping ensure the site served a wide range of users. Updates were implemented within WordPress in a way that prioritized simplicity and long-term maintainability, allowing staff to manage content confidently without ongoing technical support. The result is a clearer, more approachable website that better reflects L’Aube’s values and supports its role in strengthening local and sustainable food systems.
