Clarifying complex scientific work through structure and design
Goal: A website that clearly communicates highly technical scientific visualization and animation work without oversimplifying or compromising accuracy—supporting discovery, reflecting real research workflows, and establishing a credible digital presence that can grow over time.
This project focused on balancing scientific rigor with clarity. The existing site relied heavily on strong visuals but lacked the structure needed to guide visitors through complex content. I began by reworking the information architecture to align with how scientific audiences explore research—starting with context, moving through process, and ending with outcomes.
Content was rewritten in plain language while preserving nuance and credibility, ensuring non-expert visitors could understand the work without alienating technical audiences. Visual elements were repositioned to support the narrative rather than carry it alone. The site was rebuilt in WordPress with a focus on maintainability, making it easy to update projects and content over time.
SEO foundations were implemented carefully to improve visibility while respecting the integrity of academic and scientific communication. The result is a clear, usable website that better communicates Quorumetrix Studio’s expertise and supports long-term growth without relying on marketing-heavy language.
